This year's festival begins with a beautifully varied programme including music by two of Schumann's great inspirations: Schubert and Mozart. Sam Haywood performs one of Schumann's first published works, before Tom Poster takes to the keys for Brahm's horn trio. This concert presents a chance to hear all three of the McNulty fortepianos.
