The final day of concerts is kicked off by the Eusebius Quartet performing one of Bartok's celebrated String Quartets. His third is a compact work performed in one continuous movement and lasting only 15 minutes, but varying dramatically in mood from very grave to fast and folk-like. Following this is Schubert's much-loved piano quintet 'The Trout'.
